One Too Many Mornings est sûrement une des chansons les plus emblématiques de Bob Dylan. Enregistré pour la première fois en 1964 pour l’album The Time They Are a-Changin’, Bob en a depuis donné des dizaines d’interprétations radicalement différentes les unes des autres, transcendant complètement ce morceau au fur et à mesure du temps. C’est sa version Basement Tapes avec The Band  (The Bootleg Series Vol. 11: The Basement Tapes Raw) qui m’a accompagné durant toute la « soixantaine » que nous venons de vivre, mais ce live datant de 1976 n’est pas mal non plus…
